WeGotTickets is independent and relatively new to the ticketing marketplace but the founders do have a long background in event promotion, venue management and artist management.
The business grew after WeGotTickets originally created a system for themselves, as promoters they wanted an online ticket outlet of their own and were no doubt dissatisfied with the options they had at the time. WeGotTickets pioneered a paperless ticket system which is based on reference numbers. This system had now become commonplace.

There is no doubt WeGotTickets are more realistic about the issue of a ticket (as a small part of the gig process) and that is reflected in very keen booking fees. Booking fees are not over inflated.
WeGotTickets operate a ticketless system. This means they use less paper as a business and according to their website this also saves postage, saves time waiting for the post, saves money and saves everyone from looking for lost tickets!
