According to Noel himself (or at least his blog post on saturday) the band are heading for a, and I quote, “shitstorm”!

The elder Gallagher has been fairly prolific with his NME award winning blogging recently. Albeit just snapshots of whats happening on tour with one of the world’s biggest bands it’s surely a more direct form of communication from artist to fan that is definitely on the rise. No we are not just getting on to blogging! We are though seeing more and more “re-hashing” of artist blog comments in mainstream media…a bit like now on GYEO Times really!

So what’s with the shitstorm brewing?

Well Noel comments “We speak at bad times for the Oasis tour. Bad times. We are like a rudderless ship at the minute. And    there’s  a fuckin shitstorm on the horizon”.

Oasis are currently in South America with Noel commenting about him just returning from a sound-check at the epic River Plate   Stadium, home to Argentinian football gods and scenes of crazy football fanaticism long lost in dear old blighty. We’re guessing the Oasis gigs are a bit lively too.

So what could it be? What’s the trouble brewing?

Cryptic stuff indeed, have Oasis slipped back into ‘marching powder hedonism’ and the inevitable paranoia that follows or is this a reference to genuine band strife or even Swine flu on the tour bus? Time will tell.

However on reflection arguments in the Oasis camp whilst touring is pretty standard stuff so it seems everything is ‘business as usual’ eh. Business indeed.
