No, not some dodgy Hollywood blockbuster, but a celebration of all things good about independent music…wahey!

Following on from Worldwide Independent Networks festivities last year, AIM (Association of Independent Music) have announced Independents Day 09!!

This year sees AIM working alongside Live Nation (hmm – not typically big supporters of independent music?!) and other AIM member record labels showcasing their best talent at London town’s prestigious Institute of Contemporary Arts venue.

The gigs will take place between the 6th and 10th July and different labels including Bella Union, Rough Trade and Ninja Tunes will curate different nights so sounds a real interesting event to be fair. Get on down if you can or check out the ICA or  AIM websites people…
