In recent years this band have been name-dropped far too much by many pretenders claiming to have some of that magic in their music…although we don’t ever see it!  We totally understand the reasons why young bands want association but it’s not something we’ll ever buy into. Joy Division are unique.

It was a certain time in British youth culture, the economics, the media, the politics, the thinking, the feeling, the fashion - it can’t be replicated.
