We thought we’d do our little bit for the worthy cause that is hitting the blogosphere and now the almost concerned mainstream media…haha - it’s great.

Simon Cowell calls it a dirty campaign - we call it genius.

For years and years the INDUSTRY dictates the records that chart and become popular - this ‘from the street up’ drive is just the start of more things to come. Seriously - we can do this type of thing every week not just because some crap pop star that has Cowell and Co behind him annoys us. Make great music chart again. Sure we know Rage Against The Machine are also major label artists but it’s the challenge from the masses to what we listen to when that matters.

Great music will shine through in the new digital music economy, we’ll surely see a download chart that contains classics from The Beatles, Bob Marley or The Stones combined with new emerging talent, left-field genres and sure more mainstream tastes but isn’t it great that high spend marketing campaigns can be ignored and beat by good old common sense word of mouth!

Let’s hope so!
