We just HAD to do our little bit on this score….without doubt the only radio station we can listen to all day without getting irate due to adverts, poor music or tosser presenters. Admittedly the evening presenters on Radio 1 are much better than the daytime but it’s 6 music that delivers the musical range and quality that you just don’t hear elsewhere.

So if you don’t know, then where have you been, and do your bit to help change the minds of the powers that be…or by the end of 2011 6 music will be gone for good. Let’s hope that’s not the case!

According to the BBC Trust the annual £9M running costs are half of what Jonathan Ross earns (earn’t) as a BBC big shot celeb. The station delivers quality over quantity. At the time of writing this post 6 music blasts out ‘A Certain Ratio - Shack Up’ - we bet Chris Moyles doesn’t even know who ACR are!? Enough said.
