Cottee

After playing with Manchester band Proud Mary - supporting the likes of Neil Young, Ryan Adams, Oasis and Paul Weller to name but a few - Cottee took up Djing after being invited along to the legendary ‘Rock And Roll Bar’ at South Nightclub. A residency of six years cemented his reputation as a ‘Rock And Roll Bar’ favourite playing across the board from Bowie to Bacharach, Blondie to Beck.

In 2005 Cottee started his daily slot on 96.2 The Revolution alongside Manchester legends Mike Joyce and Mani. His highly regarded ‘Evening Session’ provided the best in new music, classic tunes and unsigned bands - with a multitude of musical guests popping in to add their two penneth.

Cottee’s currently plays with Manchester based band The Second Floor. His night ‘Make Love Not War’ runs every Friday at South Nightclub.
